Project DIVFUSE is primarily a not-for-profit artist-run platform. We are open to proposals on sound and multimedia events which can be a combination of exhibition, workshops, talk and performances. Unless by invitation, there is a fee for using the space to help with rent and to cover the overheads so that we can keep the project going. The way it operates is that we will manage, host and promote the events and activities for the artists.
In terms of capacity for workshops, talks and performances, we can cater for an audience of up to 8-9 people or 6 with tables and chairs. Due to our constraints, organisers might like to consider running the event in multiple sessions within a weekend.
The hiring fee, including use of equipment (speakers [4 x small Genelec 8020D], subwoofer [1 x Genelec 7040A], projector, projector screen, media player, tables and chairs), is generally £250 all-inclusive for one weekend without third-party funding and £380 a weekend with supported funding. One day’s event is typically £80 for 4.5 hours.
To support the hiring fee, we can also help to arrange some ticketed talks or workshops to provide some assistance to the artist. Just email us if you want to discuss a proposal. See also below for our ExChange Exhibition Scheme.

Project DIVFUSE ExChange Exhibition Scheme
We know that renting a space for exhibitions in London can be expensive for some artists but art spaces like us need the income to keep the venue going as well. That’s why we are now exploring the idea of an ExChange Exhibition Scheme where artists who want to use our space can apply for a discounted fee through exchange so that we can gain mutual support. For example, artist can consider donating the following items to us so that we can sell them (with pre-agreed artist’s consents) through our website to generate some income for the space:

- Original artwork e.g. books, prints, photographs, drawings, DVDs, CDs etc

- Limited edition merch.

- Design of a poster for the proposed event at Project DIVFUSE. Yes, how about designing a poster for your event with our logo added and donate the design to us so that we can run off some prints and sell them on our website!
